Curse Words is a band that follows the tradition of innovative, non-conventional punk rock outfits spawned in the DC area. Call them what you will — post-punk, pop-punk, passive-aggressive punk or beer-league punk rock — one thing you cannot call them is boring.

Tommy and Pete handle dual-guitar and vocal duties. Their ambidextrous melodies create a vortex of aggressive sound that envelopes audiences in a warm cocoon of Telecaster ambiance. Craig and Aaron round out the rhythm section, a flurry of drumsticks and bass-slapping efficiency.

Curse Words has been around for over two years. In that time they have survived an equipment-destroying flood to play shows from DC to Pittsburgh to Canada. Curse Words is a true DC Punk Rock Band, and they’re here to on a nihilistic mission to burn the world and salt the earth.
