Formed in 2014 in Washington, D.C., Loud Boyz collide punk, hardcore, and garage rock in a way that Vice’s Noisey calls “the kind of music meant to be blared from rooftops.” They’ve shared the stage as direct support for bands like The Buzzcocks, Marky Ramone, Andrew W.K., Darkest Hour, and Diarrhea Planet, at venues including 9:30 Club, Baltimore Soundstage, Howard Theatre and the Black Cat. Band members Brandon Brown, Alex Anderson, Devin Cassidy, Rory Sheridan, and Mitchell West rip through sets and shake shit up.
The band’s first EP was released on D.C. imprint Cricket Cemetery in January 2015, followed by a full length LP, Tough Love, Hard Feelings, released on July 10th.
