It’s the week following Breakin’ Even Fest 2. So we wanted to recap the weekend and everything that went into it.
Once again, over the course of two nights we had 200+ people in the room despite rain and larger shows like The Black Lips and Coheed & Cambria within 15 minutes of Songbyrd.
The “business model” we run on is – keep ticket prices low and profit margins so tight that we’re operating under the assumption we’re losing money. Stupid? Yes. But despite our anti-corporate mantra we’ve continued to sneak by and break even. We also raised $300 for Girls Rock! DC through your shirt and tote purchases. Hell yeah!
Breakin’ Even Fest is a celebration of music and the people who fill the rooms to experience it. We hope you found your new favorite band at this little festival and we hope to see you next year.
Here’s the Press Round up & Thank You List:
