Breakin’ Even was started in 2016 by members of the DC area band American Television.
We partner with venues to produce events centered around Washington DC and Baltimore’s best up-and-coming punk rock and indie bands alongside the nation’s biggest acts from labels like SideOneDummy, Epitaph, Fat Wreck, Pure Noise, Asian Man, and Don Giovanni.
Breakin’ Even is about celebrating the bands, the community, and everything that goes into making music happen. That’s why we partner with local venues, local sponsors, and local charities to create awareness that music does not stop at the stage – it’s everywhere.
